At a high level, WWNH has three elements: 1. How you think 2. How you look 3. How you act The second and element is influenced very heavily by the first and third. Sir Guy often emphasized the importance of weight control/keeping fit, something many women struggle with. The following very useful thread contains excellent information on this subject: www.reddit.com/r/RedPillWomen/comments/aldf17/swallowing_the_tred_pill_the_raw_truth_of_weight/Weight control is such a vital part of WWNH that I am going to sticky this thread so it will be easy to find. Please add your comments, questions, and tips.

So true that weight is important, Lady Cinnamon! It affects our energy and health, too, which contributes to attractiveness.
The main comment makes the point that counting calories is the main way to lose weight. Others chime in to discuss types of food, exercise, etc. All are correct, HOWEVER, the main poster is right--if you simply consume less than you expend, you will lose weight. If you eat more calories than you use, you will gain weight. This is true regardless of the types of food.
Eating better food and exercising *will* make your health better yet, and they might even cause you to lose weight faster. But the main point is to be accurately aware of what you consume. Start there, and you can build on it.
I like the fact that the commenter debunks the common excuses for why a person "can't" control his or her weight. At one time, the vast majority of adults were not fat or even pudgy, and this was when we had cars and phones and such.
A lot has to do with self-awareness and self-control. Set in place little habits that will use calories and stop buying those things that tempt you. Focus not on self-condemnation, but on those cute clothes you will be able to wear. It may be necessary to distance a bit from people who center their world a little too much around food. Also helps to recognize where we might be substituting overindulging for dealing with our personal baggage and getting emotionally healthy.

Great points, Miss Gina. As I was reading your comment, it occured to me that financial stability is built around the same principle - spend LESS THAN you earn.
Money and Diet are both multimillion dollar cash cow industries. Thousands of books have been published on the subjects of both personal finance/wealth accumulation and weight loss - not to mention the numerous costly seminars offered on both subjects - yet the fundamental building blocks remain the same:
Key to weight loss > consume fewer calories than you burn Key to personal financial > spend less than you earn.
Everyone is looking for a magic bullet as regards weight, but you said it perfectly:
A lot has to do with self-awareness and self-control. Set in place little habits that will use calories and stop buying those things that tempt you.
On a related note, I have to sigh when I think about the mult-million dollar dating/"relationship"/self-help industry for women - 99% of what they need is found in WWNH, yet so many continue on blindly in both confusion and misery, in some cases paying $$$$$$$$ for terrible advice.

I think weight loss is a bit different than spending issues, even though they both involve self-control. I do believe that there are aspects of weight loss that are very difficult to control due to the body's natural and healthy mechanisms to prevent you from starving. Trying to manipulate weight to get below your body's set-point can often lead people to have eating disorders or gain weight. Our bodies are smart, but when we try to mess with them too much to meet societies pressures, they can go awry, especially if it is done in the wrong way. When it comes to practical advice, I felt like this website has some interesting information. She is coming out with a book soon as well which will probably be more of a guide into how to lose weight and/or break free from unhealthy eating cycles. www.eatlikeanormalperson.com/
