Ladies,
What are your thoughts on opening a business with your husband and working together? I just had a friend do this and she is very excited to be in a partnership with her husband. Personally, I think it's bad and I foresee cheating and or divorce for their relationship if she continues to be his business partner. Thoughts?

I don't think there is a hard and fast rule, but I think you are wise to be wary. I do think that a couple with a strong WWNH-based marriage could potentially make this work. Given Sir Guy's strong preference for the traditional family (male breadwinner, female homemaker), however, why would she want to go down this route? Given the choice I would, on balance, recommend against it. If it is seen as an economic necessity, however (e.g saving money by having wife perform office functions instead of paying a clerical worker) it could work under the right circumstances.
I should mention that I do know a woman who does the bookkeeping for her husband's consultancy business. She is very traditional-minded and uses WWNH principles in her marriage. She has a great flair for business (despite not having a college education) and is charming (she speaks two foreign languages, for starters). This arrangement has strengthened their marriage I think because he really depends on her, and his business associates are charmed by her personality and efficiency. She is a feather in his cap - it's sort of like he is married to the "smart and sexy secretary" (LOL).
