This thread will contain examples of female characters from movies or TV who break WWNH rules. It's an opportunity to help identify mistakes. It might be fun to add observations as you watch DVDs or go to the cinema.
Film: "Manchester by the Sea"
Who: the character Randi.
When Randi breaks up the adult frat party in the basement she does it in a very non-feminine (ball-busting) way. This is a particularly bad WWNH mistake because she did it in front of a group of her husband Lee's friends.
Rules broken:
1. Don't criticise directly
2. Don't criticise husband in front of others
3. Don't directly put the children above the husband
4. Don't swear
I don't think Randi should have brought her new husband to Joe's funeral. She put Lee in direct competition with her new husband, and new husband in direct competition with Lee. Bad, bad, bad! If she really wanted to come she should have come alone.

Men don't like to see former or new lovers/husbands.
