So I am always on the lookout for movies to watch with good examples of feminine women. I love old movies from the 40s and 50s which I think are quite often good for this. Can any of you recommend any more recent examples of feminine women in movies? Thank you

MySpinningArrow, if you do not mind the French language or reading the English subtitles whilst watching, how about "The Silence of the Sea"? Or "The Magic of Ordinary Days"? If you'd like, you can have a look at the trailer(s) on youtube to see if it is something you would enjoy.

If I think of any counter-examples I will add them to this thread. This gives me an idea for another thread - examples where female characters break WWNH rules.

I had a look at the trailers for both and they both look like good movies. I will add them to my 'to watch' list!

MySpinningArrow, I just finished watching a movie called " The Flamingo Rising". I think Edna Lee is pretty feminine although I generally like Elizabeth McGovern. She's feminine in all of the movies I have seen her act in. See if you like it too.
