On March 25, 2018 we lost our beloved Sir Guy very suddenly. He wrote his last and final article, 2870, two weeks previous, on March 11. Sir Guy mentioned he was going to the ER and then departed the blog swiftly and uncharacteristically, without his usual "ATTENTION LADIES!" notice. He was very much missed in the interim. We were praying for him and eagerly awaiting his return when we learned the sad but bittersweet news. Sad because he is no longer with us, but sweet because he is now reunited with Her Majesty Grace - whom we knew he had been missing so very very much.
For students of WWNH, both long-term and new, this forum is intended as a place to continue our studies and support each other, as we often did in the comments section when our gallant Lieutenant Commander was at the helm. Like all great teachers, Sir Guy particularly liked it when his students could fly solo and demonstrate mastery of the WWNH material by advising each other on particular problems and dilemmas. I suspect these solo flights confirmed for him that WWNH would not die with him, but would continue to live on long after he was gone. And it shall.
